The maturity of Dustin Chapman's voice is well beyond his years (Taste of Country) and showcases the immense passion he has for country music. The Whiteville, North Carolina native has never shied away  from letting his life experiences allow him to showcase a raw vulnerability in his music; a signature characteristic that his fans have come to expect from his catalog - true honesty. 

Whether it's religious themed or a true country ballad, Chapman's music resonates with so many due to the real life topics that he tackles through his songwriting. Though still in his 20s, Chapman experienced a lot of life at a young age while battling a rare disease called Achalasia. This disease only affects one-in-200,000 people and impacts the motility of the esophagus, making it difficult to eat and drink. Through seven surgeries and numerous hospitalizations, Chapman clung to his musical talents as a solace and used his trials as inspiration for his songwriting, which has allowed others to gravitate to his music. 

Not only have listeners resonated to Chapman's soulful southern sound and impressive writing, but he has been making waves in the country music scene and has wracked up several recognitions from various music industry personnel. Chapman has been recognized as the Entertainer of the Year by the Carolina Country Music Awards, won Music Video of the Year from the Josie Music Awards, and has accumulated several songwriting accolades, from awards to having songs cut by other artists and featured in motion pictures. Chapman was also a contestant on season 19 of American Idol and more recently, was featured on the country music songwriting show Chart Breakers in 2024.

In terms of live performances, you can find Dustin performing daily at Dolly Parton's theme park Dollywood where he is a feature vocalist in the "Forever Country" show located inside the park's Valley Theater. Chapman is the type to never slow down, so when not at Dollywood, you can catch Dustin traveling all around the east coast performing his own shows, or as the supporting act to various country legends such as Montgomery Gentry, John Berry, and Terri Clark.
